Hello, I’m Cameron – perhaps better known as CD93!
In 2007, I discovered the roleplaying community for Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.
Despite only using the in-game text chat and announcement systems to convey dialogue, actions and events, we soon implemented tricks and techniques to create and partake in exciting, cinematic experiences worthy of the Star Trek franchise.
Part of this was through recording and creating content which spotlighted player characters and highlighted player & staff-ran events in a way which made them stand out from the crowd. Despite an outdated engine, players remained engaged for over a decade.
I carried this mindset across multiple games and platforms, developing my hobbyistic interest in video editing and content creation along the way.
But it was only in 2022, when a content-focused roleplaying community called Let’s RP – hosted by HunterServers – was formed that I truly saw the potential of cinematic roleplay and the content it could produce.
From June 2022 to November 2024, I acted as Content Manager for Let’s RP. I currently work on the HunterServers Brand Team.
DaVinci Resolve is my editing suite of choice, with Photoshop and After Effects also in regular use.
